اسلام آباد کی احتساب عدالت نے نوازشریف فیملی کےخلاف دائر ایون فیلڈ ریفرنس کا فیصلہ سنادیا ہے ،نواز شریف کو 10سال قید اور 8 ملین پائونڈ جرمانہ عائد کیا گیا ہے ۔
عدالتی فیصلے میں نواز شریف کی صاحبزادی مریم نواز کو 7سال قید اور 2 ملین پائونڈ جرمانہ عائد کیا گیا ہے جبکہ ان کے شوہر کیپٹن (ر) صفدر کو ایک سال کی سزا سنائی گئی ہے ۔
عدالت نے ایون فیلڈ اپارٹمنٹس کی ضبطی کے احکامات بھی دیے ہیں،نیب پراسیکیوٹر کے مطابق احتساب عدالت کا فیصلہ سپریم کورٹ کے فیصلے کی توثیق ہے
کلر سیداں(اکرام الحق قریشی)نوا ز شریف ،مریم نواز ،کیپٹن صفدر کو نیب کورٹ کی جانب سے سزاؤں کے اعلان کے ساتھ ہی مقامی پولیس کسی بھی ناخوشگوار صورتحال سے نمٹنے کے لیے کلر سیداں کے مین چوک میں پہنچ گئی ۔مسلم لیگ ن کی جانب سے کسی قسم کا رد عمل ظاہر نہ ہوا جبکہ پی ٹی آئی کے چند نوجوان گاڑیوں پر لاؤڈ سپیکر نصب کر کے گو نواز گو کے ترانے لگاتے ہوئے مین چوک پہنچے جہاں موجود پولیس نے لاؤڈ سپیکر بند کرا کے انہیں واپس لوٹا دیا اور بتایا کہ الیکشن کمیشن کی جانب سے لاؤڈ سپیکر کے استعمال پر پابندی ہے ۔
Rawalpindi: Pakistan’s accountability court on Friday pronounced ousted premier Nawaz Sharif guilty in the Avenfield corruption reference and sentenced him to at 10 years in prison after daylong suspense in Islamabad. His daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (retired) Safdar have also been convicted in the same case.
Nawaz has also been fined 8 million pounds for owning assets without declaration and for not cooperating with NAB. Maryam has been awarded at least seven years of jail time and also has been fined 2 million pounds whereas her husband Safdar was handed a one-year sentence.
The conviction of Nawaz Sharif and his daughter automatically disqualified both for 10 years. The court also decided to seize the properties owned by the Sharif family in UK. Interim warrants have also been issued to arrest sons of Nawaz Sharif, Hassan and Hussain, who reside in UK, according to local TV report.
The highly anticipated verdict in the Avenfield corruption reference (regarding Sharif’s upscale London apartments) was filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against the Sharif family. The verdict was announced after several delays on Friday as the court was buzzing with media and security personnel.
